•access_token: Authentication token that keeps you signed in.
•Refresh/session cookies: Maintain your session and renew authentication securely.
•cookie_consent: Stores your cookie preferences so we can honor them and re-ask only when needed.
•Security cookies: Help prevent fraud and protect account security.

2.2 Analytics (consent-based)

Help us understand how the Platform is used so we can improve it.

•Google Analytics: Measures page views and aggregate usage. Loaded via Google Consent Mode, so no analytics storage is used until you consent.
•PostHog: Product analytics and, where enabled, session replay. Session replay is off by default, requires analytics consent, and never runs on assessment or proctoring pages.

2.3 Functional (remember your choices)

Remember preferences you set yourself. These are stored only as a result of your own choices.

•Theme preference: Remembers your light/dark mode selection (stored in browser local storage).

2.4 Marketing (consent-based)

Used to measure our marketing reach. We do not serve personalized advertising on the Platform.

•Apollo.io website tracker: Helps us understand visitor and campaign engagement. Loaded only after you consent to marketing technologies, and never on assessment or proctoring pages.

3. Other Technologies

Beyond cookies, we use a small set of related technologies:

•Local Storage: Used for functional preferences (such as theme) and by our analytics provider (PostHog) where consented.
•Server Logs: IP address, browser type, and access times are logged automatically for security and reliability.

4. Cookie Duration

•Session cookies: Deleted when you close your browser.
•Authentication cookies: Short-lived and refreshed during active sessions.
•Consent record (cookie_consent): Retained for up to 180 days, then we re-ask.
•Analytics cookies: Typically expire within 1–2 years.

5. Managing Your Cookies

5.1 Cookie Settings

When you first visit SwiftCruit, you will see a cookie choice at the bottom of the page. You can:

•Accept all to allow analytics and marketing technologies.
•Reject non-essential to keep only what is required to run the Platform.
•Customize to choose Analytics and Marketing categories individually.
•Change your choice anytime by clicking Cookie Settings in the footer.

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a request to reject non-essential cookies: we do not load analytics or marketing technologies and record the opt-out automatically.

•Authentication cookies use secure tokens that cannot be easily guessed or manipulated.
•Cookies are marked Secure over HTTPS, and sensitive cookies use appropriate protections.
