View Project- Built an end-to-end RAG pipeline (parse→chunk→embed→retrieve) with a FastAPI backend and TypeScript VS Code extension, supporting 40+ file extensions with per-user isolated ChromaDB vector stores and cosine similarity retrieval (k=8).
- Designed 20+ async FastAPI endpoints with dual-layer auth (64-char API keys + HS256 JWT, 24-hr expiry), slowapi rate limiting (60 req/min), and SSE streaming for real-time LLM responses.
- Engineered parallel file ingestion using ProcessPoolExecutor (8 workers, 50 files/batch) with RecursiveCharacterTextSplitter chunking (800 chars, 100 overlap) and all-MiniLM-L6-v2 384-dim embeddings on CPU.
- Implemented dual-tier caching (Redis + PostgreSQL) with SHA-256 hash-based keys and TTL expiration, reducing redundant LLM calls by serving cached code explanations on repeated requests.
