View Project- Built a 2D virtual-office metaverse where distributed teams join a shared space, move avatars across a canvas, and collaborate in real time, with a TypeScript/ Angular client recreating in-office presence remotely.
- Architected the real-time layer in TypeScript/Node.js using WebSockets for avatar movement and WebRTC for peer-to-peer voice/video that activates by proximity as users move near each other.
- Scaled concurrent rooms with interest management (spatial culling) — broadcasting each user’s position only to nearby peers with batched, rate-capped deltas — cutting socket fan-out from O(N2) toward O(N).
