Medical ERP (AWS EKS Microservices Deployment)
- Architected and deployed a microservices-based B2B ERP system on AWS EKS, splitting the application into three independently scalable services (Users, Products, Orders), each communicating with its own database via dedicated Kubernetes Services.
- Configured an Ingress Controller behind an Application Load Balancer for traffic routing and zero-downtime rolling deployments, and containerized each microservice with Docker, maintaining versioned images in ECR.
- Automated infrastructure provisioning (EKS, VPC, ALB, IAM, S3, CloudFront, Route 53) using Terraform with S3 remote state and DynamoDB locking, eliminating manual setup and configuration drift across environments.
- Hosted the frontend on S3 behind CloudFront for edge caching and reduced latency, and configured Route 53 for subdomain- based traffic separation between frontend and backend.
- Built Jenkins CI/CD pipelines to automate build, image push, and EKS deployment, and right-sized pod resource requests/limits to avoid over-provisioning and reduce unnecessary compute costs.
Student App Deployment
- Deployed and managed a full-stack application (React.js, Spring Boot, MySQL) on AWS EC2 (Ubuntu), containerizing services with Docker and orchestrating them via Docker Compose for consistent, portable deployments.
- Provisioned AWS infrastructure — EC2, VPC with public/private subnets, IAM, S3, RDS, ALB, and Auto Scaling Groups — following networking and security best practices, including security group configuration for secure inter-layer communication.
