ING Bank is rolling out one standard implementation for Interest Rate Risk and Forecasting in the banking books. Regulations and internal risk management insights require us to enhance our ALM capabilities to be implemented consistently throughout ING Bank.
We value helping each other, sharing our knowledge in the team, working together on delivering on our promises and reflecting on how we can improve in our work but also personal developments and growth. We are a young, internationally focused team (both in scope of our work and our team composition) and focus on developing new functionality and methodologies for risk management on one target platform (QRM). Our team puzzles out the right balance between conceptual risk management and practical implementation solutions and therefore we find it important that you have strong analytical skills.
When joining the team, you will work on the implementation and roll-out of one central ALM Results area (ARA) as well as supporting the team with monthly ALM data deliveries and reconciliations for reporting purposes. You will work with multiple business intelligence and database tools daily in this change implementation role.
You will play a central role within ING and your success will depend on your ability to maintain good relations with our end-users and stakeholders, i.e. Financial Risk teams (central ALM reporting team), ING locations and ING Finance teams.
We are looking for a committed and collaborative team player, who is experienced in
managing data, understanding complex data and data structures and how these contribute to managing ALM risk. Also understanding complex ALM data requests from our supervisors (ECB, EBA) and being able to translate these into structured and timely deliverables is key.
You should have a strong affinity with position (more specifically Finance and ALM Risk) data and be able to cooperate with internal and external stakeholders to find the structural best solution for ING. Experience with Finance systems, especially in the area of ALM or Treasury related data, is appreciated.
Development of functionality that structurally supports the locations and ING Head Office in the timely and consistent delivery of complex analysis and reporting-data requests in an ALM results area (e.g. ALCO /stress test inputs)
Translate (external and internal) business data requests into understandable and actionable items and designs with the team.
Align and agree results with main stakeholders and management.
Develop new functionality and analysis capabilities in our target model in QRM to structurally support an efficient delivery of complex data requests.
Implementation and roll-out of new data solutions to end-users and locations
Our future colleague should be a strong analytical thinker with the ability to create, challenge and improve data techniques. The candidate should be a team-player, get things done and should be able to communicate and align clearly to internal (Finance and Financial Risk) and external (ECB, EBA) stakeholders and senior management and be able to translate these requirements to our developers.
