About the role

Senior Full-Stack / Backend Engineer for a healthcare care-team platform that brings patient context, contact records, call history, and AI-agent outreach into clinical workflows. You will design, build, and scale high-performance .NET 10 microservices, custom browser extensions (React/TypeScript), and AWS EKS infrastructure, acting as a true full-stack and infrastructure generalist in a regulated HIPAA/PHI environment.

What You'll Do

• End-to-End Feature Delivery: Build features end-to-end across the stack, from React 18 / TypeScript frontend interfaces (web portal and Chrome/Edge side-panel extensions) to C# / .NET 10 microservices, database schemas, and Terraform/Kubernetes deployments.
• Microservices & Messaging: Own and scale independently deployable .NET microservices using Dapr (pub/sub, service invocation, state management), managing database schemas, event processing, and background jobs.
• Telephony & AI Integration: Integrate third-party healthcare and communication platforms (Zoom Contact Center, Telnyx, ChartHero, Twilio), capturing call sessions, transcripts, recordings, and driving AI-agent outreach into clinical EHR workflows.
• Data Platform & Infrastructure Operations: Manage and harden data infrastructure (MongoDB replica sets and OpenSearch indices on Kubernetes, SQL Server, Redis), implementing automated backups, encryption, and restore drills.
• Quality & Compliance Engineering: Guarantee strict regulatory compliance (PHI, HIPAA, SOC2) through audit trails, least privilege access, multi-scheme authentication (JWT, SAML2/SSO, API keys), and greenfield automated testing suites (xUnit, Moq, FluentAssertions).

 

Required Qualifications

• Core .NET & Microservices: 5+ years of software development experience with expert-level proficiency in C# / ASP.NET Core (.NET 8+ / .NET 10), controller-based APIs, Dependency Injection, custom middleware, EF Core, and Dapr.

• Frontend & Extensions: Proficiency in React 18+ and TypeScript (Context API, strict typing, Material-UI v5) and experience developing Chrome/Edge extensions (Manifest V3, Side Panel API, background service workers).

• Databases & Search: Solid experience with relational databases (SQL Server, EF Core migrations, global query filters) alongside NoSQL/Search platforms (MongoDB, OpenSearch/Elasticsearch with driver-level queries and aggregations).

• Cloud & DevOps (AWS / Kubernetes): Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code via Terraform, AWS EKS, Helm, ECR, S3, KMS, SQS, CloudWatch, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions).

• Testing & Architecture: Strong foundations in testing frameworks (xUnit, Moq, FluentAssertions) for both backend integration and frontend test coverage, applying SOLID principles, Clean Architecture, and MediatR/CQRS patterns.

• B2+ or higher english level 

 

Nice to have

• Telephony & EHR Domain: Experience with contact center/telephony domains (call flows, media streaming, SIP/VoIP) and EHR launch context/webhooks integrations.
• Advanced Operations & Security: Hands-on experience with distributed tracing (Zipkin), Hangfire, FluentValidation, Mapster/AutoMapper, and disaster recovery/backup engineering on Kubernetes.
• AI & Tooling: Experience collaborating with AI coding agents across large codebases, as well as AI-agent integrations into clinical communication workflows.
