At Hiya, we’re making business calls more trusted, useful, and effective.
Voice remains one of the most important ways businesses communicate with their customers, but the value of a call depends on trust. When customers do not recognize who is calling or why, important conversations are missed, customer relationships suffer, and business outcomes are harder to achieve.
Hiya helps businesses create trusted calling experiences that benefit both sides of the conversation: enterprises can reach customers with confidence, and customers can answer with confidence. Our products support branded business calling, trusted caller identity, call performance insights, customer engagement, and voice security capabilities that help businesses strengthen relationships and improve outcomes.
This role sits in a core business area for Hiya and is focused on helping SMB and enterprise customers succeed.
We are hiring an Account Director to lead carrier partnerships and commercial growth in Brazil. Based in São Paulo, you will drive Hiya's expansion across Brazil with a view to broader LATAM coverage over time. This is a strategic, high-impact role for someone who thrives in complex, multi-stakeholder environments and wants to build something meaningful in one of the world's most dynamic telecom markets.
You will own the full commercial lifecycle, from market development and executive relationship-building through to deal negotiation, execution, and long-term account growth. You will define and execute Hiya's Brazil strategy and work cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Legal, Customer Success, and Leadership to bring our voice intelligence solutions to market.
This role is critical to the success of Hiya. You will be a key player in a small but global team that interacts with the largest brand-name Mobile Network Operators in the world.

• Represent customer and market needs internally to shape product and go-to-market strategy
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to support successful launches and partner growth
• Track market dynamics, competitive activity, and regulatory and industry trends across Brazil and LATAM
• 7+ years in business development, strategic partnerships, enterprise sales, or carrier/operator sales
• Proven ability to drive business development in the Brazilian market
• Strong experience working with telecommunications operators or large enterprise accounts
• Proven track record closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals
• Strong executive presence and relationship management skills
• Commercially driven, with sharp strategic thinking and execution capability
• Comfortable operating in fast-moving, ambiguous environments
• Must hold a valid Brazilian work authorisation or right-to-work status
• Fluent in Portuguese and English; Spanish is an advantage
• Business development experience in other LATAM markets (Colombia, Mexico, Argentina, Chile) is a strong plus
• Experience in telecom services, mobile networks, voice, fraud, or security products
• Existing relationships within the Brazilian or LATAM telecom ecosystem
• Experience working with SaaS, platform, or AI-driven products
• Exposure to international or multi-market commercial environments
• Technical fluency and the ability to engage in solution-design conversations with product, engineering, and data teams
• Own it: We expect team members to take real ownership and move with purpose. Observers don't thrive here.
• High trust, high bar: We serve customers and partners with a standard for quality we don't compromise on.
• Learn in public: Mistakes happen. What matters is that we reflect, adapt, and share what we learned.
• Lead with conviction: We make calls, we back them, and we stay collaborative while doing it.
• Do, don't observe: Velocity and execution are core to how we operate, across every function.
• Competitive salary and annual bonus: Structured OTE with upside tied to market performance.
• Hybrid working: Based in São Paulo with flexibility on where and how you work.
• Annual professional development budget: Dedicated investment in your growth and skills.
• Home office support: We'll help you set up a productive working environment.
• International collaboration: Work closely with teams across the US, UK, EMEA, and APAC, with travel to match.
