At DoorDash, our mission is to empower local economies – and the Inside Sales Account Executive team lives that mission every day. We partner directly with local restaurant owners and operators, helping them reach new customers and build a real revenue stream through on-demand delivery.
We invest in our people the same way we invest in our merchants. That means hands-on coaching, clear performance feedback, and a real career path – into senior sales, field sales, strategic sales, or leadership. If you want to grow in sales, this is the team to join.
As an Account Executive (AE) on our Inside Sales team, you will own the full sales cycle from prospecting to close. This is a high-volume, transactional role with deal cycles that close within a few days to a week. Most of your day is outbound calls — you’ll be running a high volume of conversations simultaneously, so comfort with fast-paced outreach and short deal cycles is essential.
Our most successful AEs are consistent and self-motivated. They build healthy pipelines, follow up consistently, and treat every conversation as an opportunity to move the deal forward. You’ll have a manager invested in your growth and a team around you, but you’ll also have real ownership over your results.
This role is flexible, with some time in office and some time remote. You will need the ability to travel as needed for in-person collaboration through training, offsites, team-building events, and other business-related necessities.
Compensation
Actual compensation within the pay range listed below will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location. Base salary is localized according to employee work location.
In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for sales commission. Talk to your recruiter for more information.
DoorDash cares about you and your overall well-being. That’s why we offer a comprehensive benefits package to all regular employees, which includes a 401(k) plan with employer matching, 16 weeks of paid parental leave, wellness benefits, commuter benefits match, paid time off and paid sick leave in compliance with applicable laws (e.g. Colorado Healthy Families and Workplaces Act). DoorDash also offers medical, dental, and vision benefits, 11 paid holidays, disability and basic life insurance, family-forming assistance, and a mental health program, among others.

At DoorDash, our mission to empower local economies shapes how our team members move quickly, learn, and reiterate in order to make impactful decisions that display empathy for our range of users—from Dashers to merchant partners to consumers. DoorDash is growing rapidly and changing constantly, which gives our team members the opportunity to share their unique perspectives, solve new challenges, and own their careers. We're committed to supporting employees’ happiness, healthiness, and overall well-being by providing comprehensive benefits and perks including premium healthcare, wellness expense reimbursement, paid parental leave and more.
