Team mission
Be a founding member of our São Paulo team. We’re opening our new office in January and need an Account Manager to grow our existing partnerships. You’ll build strong relationships with the partners who bring the best experiences in South America to travelers worldwide, and help shape our expansion.
Your mission
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with our existing accounts, with a focus on larger, more complex partners.
- Identify and lead growth initiatives with your top accounts, from idea generation and implementation to project management, success tracking, and reporting, working with cross-functional partners where needed.
- Pitch and win defined opportunities, such as bringing new activities online, increasing availability, and negotiating commission increases.
- Resolve technical, customer, and supplier issues independently, including keeping cancellation rates low and troubleshooting connectivity problems.
- Review activity performance, share regular reports and insights, and proactively suggest improvements to make your accounts successful.
- Represent GetYourGuide at regional events and conferences, and visit local partners in your market.
Your toolkit
- 3+ years of experience in Sales or Account Management, with a proven track record of managing large, complex accounts and exceeding targets.
- Fluent in English and at least one of Portuguese or Spanish. Trilingual (English, Portuguese, and Spanish) is a big plus.
- Travel tech or OTA industry experience is a plus.
- Resilient, hungry for success, and motivated by ambitious sales targets, always raising the bar for yourself.
- Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence decision-makers across functions.
- Strong problem-solving skills, using data to prioritize actions and inform decisions.
- Strong in data analysis and reporting.
- An excellent communicator who adapts your approach to diverse audiences for maximum impact.
- A team player who shares best practices and lifts the team to new heights.
Extras that give you an edge
- You’re energized by AI: you make time to experiment, build intuition through hands-on trials, and translate discoveries into practical improvements in how you work.
How we’ll make your career journey extraordinary
