Admissions Representative

CAMPUS LOCATION: Aviation Institute of Maintenance -  4025 S 32nd St, Phoenix, AZ 85040

COMPENSATION: Up to $27 per hour, based on experience and qualifications

About the Role

Aviation Institute of Maintenance is looking for an Admissions Representative who is passionate about education, motivated by results, and genuinely invested in the success of every student they work with. This is not a passive role. It requires someone who takes initiative, stays organized under pressure, and brings consistent energy to a fast-paced, goal-driven environment.

Based at our Phoenix campus, you will be the first point of contact for prospective students exploring AIM’s FAA-approved aviation maintenance technician programs. Your ability to build trust quickly, communicate clearly, and follow through with urgency will directly determine your impact — and your results.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a high volume of prospective student inquiries through phone, email, and in-person or virtual meetings — responding with speed and professionalism
• Assess each prospective student’s goals, background, and eligibility to identify the right program fit
• Guide students through every stage of the admissions process: inquiry, appointment setting, interview, application, documentation, and enrollment
• Consistently meet and exceed enrollment KPIs, including outreach volume, contact-to-appointment conversion rates, application completion rates, and closing ratios
• Proactively follow up with prospective students to keep momentum and resolve barriers to enrollment
• Maintain accurate records of student application status and pipeline activity in the CRM
• Represent AIM at open houses, career fairs, and community recruitment events

What We’re Looking For

• Has a strong track record in sales, admissions, or customer service with demonstrated results against performance metrics
• Communicates clearly and authentically with a wide range of people
• Stays organized, meets deadlines, and manages multiple priorities without dropping the ball
