Summary of Role:
GlobalFoundries Fab 8 is seeking a new college graduate to support state-of-the-art 300mm semiconductor manufacturing and technology development in Malta, New York. This role supports process integration of semiconductor devices by monitoring performance, analyzing defect and process data, improving technology yield and Cp/Cpk of inline and electrical parameters, and developing reporting solutions that accelerate data-driven decision-making.
Essential Responsibilities include:
Analyze manufacturing and defect data to identify correlations, trends, and opportunities to improve yield, process stability, and defectivity.
Gather, organize, and maintain process-integration procedures and technical documentation in a consolidated, accessible library.
Develop and sustain reports and dashboards in internal systems to enable faster analysis and clear communication of manufacturing performance.
Collaborate with process, device, yield, quality, and manufacturing teams to investigate issues, recommend actions, and support continuous improvement of semiconductor technologies.
Other Responsibilities:
Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.
Required Qualifications:
Education – Graduating with Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Data Science or related field from an accredited degree program.
Must have at least an overall 3.0 GPA and proven good academic standing.
Language Fluency - English (Written & Verbal)
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior related internship or co-op experience.
Demonstrated prior leadership experience in the workplace, school projects, competitions, etc.
Strong interest in leveraging AI tools and emerging technologies to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support effective decision-making.
Project management skills, i.e. the ability to innovate and execute solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong planning & organizational skills
Prior coursework or project experience in data analytics, statistical analysis, and data visualization.
Programming or scripting experience with tools such as Python, SQL, R, or similar technologies.

Expected Salary Range
$69,000.00 - $120,000.00The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.
