This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an AI First Sr. iOS Engineer based in the United States.

Join a forward-thinking engineering team building and scaling innovative mobile experiences for a high-value digital marketplace. In this senior role, you will design, develop, and optimize iOS applications serving both buyers and sellers. You will help shape the technical direction of the iOS platform, modernizing existing architectures while delivering reliable, high-quality features. Artificial intelligence will be an integral part of your daily workflow, helping you accelerate development, improve testing, and streamline debugging. You will collaborate closely with Product, Design, Android, backend, and platform engineering teams to deliver seamless cross-platform experiences. Beyond writing code, you will take ownership of complex technical challenges, mentor intermediate engineers, and promote engineering best practices. This is an opportunity to make a measurable impact in a collaborative, remote-first environment that values innovation, technical excellence, and continuous learning.

Accountabilities:

Mobile Application Development: Design, build, test, and ship high-quality iOS features across buyer and seller experiences, primarily using SwiftUI while supporting existing UIKit and Storyboard components.
Technical Leadership and Architecture: Drive iOS technical decisions, improve modular architecture, maintain shared internal libraries, and support the modernization of legacy applications.
Platform Integration: Develop and maintain cross-cutting capabilities, including authentication, feature flags, product analytics, crash reporting, and navigation patterns.
Quality Assurance and Release Management: Strengthen unit, UI, and snapshot testing practices, maintain robust code review and continuous integration standards, and contribute to reliable TestFlight and App Store releases using automated workflows.
AI-Driven Engineering: Integrate AI-powered coding assistants, refactoring tools, test generators, and debugging solutions into everyday development while critically validating generated outputs before implementation.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product Managers, designers, backend engineers, QA specialists, and Android developers to align functionality, improve user experiences, and ensure consistent behavior across platforms.
Mentorship and Continuous Improvement: Coach intermediate engineers, share technical knowledge, improve development workflows, and take ownership of features from initial design through production release and ongoing maintenance.
