Georgi Velev is looking for a new team member.
Job Overview:
We are looking for a motivated AI Solutions Engineer to turn business challenges into practical AI solutions. You will work directly with business stakeholders to identify valuable use cases, build solutions hands-on, and take them from initial concept to production. This is a role for someone who combines strong engineering skills with business understanding and takes ownership of the solutions they build - from defining the right problem to measuring the impact after launch.
Your daily routine would include:
- Working directly with business teams to identify, assess, and prioritize AI use cases.
- Defining solution scope together with business stakeholders, balancing business value, technical feasibility, delivery time, and cost.
- Building and deploying LLM-based applications, AI agents, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions on the team’s infrastructure.
- Taking use cases from Proof of Concept (PoC) through pilot to production and ensuring they deliver value to real users.
- Monitoring and improving deployed solutions, troubleshooting issues, and taking responsibility for their ongoing performance.
- Developing repeatable evaluation methods to measure AI quality and verify whether changes to prompts, models, or architectures improve results.
- Agreeing on measurable business outcomes with business owners before implementation and tracking the impact after launch.
- Developing reusable components that help accelerate future AI use cases and enable solutions to scale across the organization.
- Collaborating with the team on technology choices, architecture, and engineering standards.
- Selecting the right models and approaches based on quality, cost, latency, and data sensitivity.
We’ll know you can make it if you have:
- Hands-on experience building and deploying LLM-based systems used by real users, including the ability to troubleshoot issues that arise after launch.
- Strong Python skills and experience developing maintainable, production-ready services.
- Experience with an AI agent framework in production. We use LangGraph, but equivalent experience with other frameworks is also relevant.
- Experience developing APIs and services using FastAPI or similar technologies, working with containers, and deploying applications in a production environment.
- Practical knowledge of RAG and the ability to investigate incorrect answers, identify root causes, and demonstrate improvements.
- Experience working with both frontier models from major cloud providers and open-weight models, choosing the right option for each use case.
- Experience evaluating LLM-based systems systematically, using repeatable quality checks rather than relying on demos or subjective impressions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand business needs and translate them into workable technical solutions.
- Confidence in communicating directly with non-technical stakeholders, challenging assumptions constructively, and agreeing on realistic scope.
- A proactive and independent approach, combined with strong collaboration skills and a sense of ownership.
- A practical understanding of cost and the ability to deliver effective solutions without unnecessary complexity.
- Fluency in Bulgarian and good working proficiency in English.
Nice to have:
- Experience with Azure and cloud-based AI services.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes and PostgreSQL.
- Experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio or other low-code agent-building platforms.
- Familiarity with Model Context Protocol (MCP) and self-hosted inference.
- Experience with LLM evaluation frameworks and tools.
- Knowledge of telecommunications or experience working in a large enterprise environment.
Our gratitude for the job done will be eternal, but we’ll also offer you:
- Innovative technologies and platforms to “play” with.
- Modern working environment for your comfort.
- Friendly, ambitious, and motivated teammates to support each other.
- Thousands of online and in-person learning opportunities to grow.
- Challenging assignments and career development opportunities in multinational environment.
- Attractive remuneration package.
- Flexible working schedule and opportunity for home office.
- Numerous additional goodies, including, but not limited to free A1 services, discounts, health insurance and services, sports center, childcare, team and family events, etc.
