Do you enjoy hands-on technical work? As an Assembler Technician at ASML, you help build some of the most advanced machines in the world. These machines are used to make computer chips. These chips are used in products people use every day.
You will work with advanced technology and follow clear work instructions. Together with your team, you solve technical challenges. If you enjoy precision work and want to keep learning, this could be the right job for you.
Within our cleanroom factories, Assembler Technicians work in different areas, such as precision module assembly, system integration, testing, and qualification. You only need to apply once. During the selection process, we will match you to the team that best fits your skills, experience, and technical strengths.
Depending on your team, you will:
Assemble, connect, and align mechanical, electrical, and mechatronic components.
Work from technical drawings and detailed work instructions.
Measure and test parts and systems.
Investigate technical issues and solve problems.
Record work, test results, and issues in digital systems.
Work according to strict quality, safety and cleanroom procedures.
We welcome technicians from a wide range of technical backgrounds. Experience in the semiconductor industry is not required. What matters most is your practical technical skills, experience, and willingness to learn.
Next to that, you have:
A vocational/practical qualification (comparable to Dutch MBO level 3 or 4) in a technical field such as mechanical engineering, mechatronics, automotive technology or a related discipline.
At least 2 years of hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical or mechatronic systems, machines, or technical equipment.
Ability to read technical drawings and work instructions.
Experience with measurements, diagnostics, testing, or troubleshooting.
Ability to communicate in English in a technical work environment.
Basic confidence using digital tools, production systems, and computer-based work instructions.
Willingness to work on a two-shift schedule
You will fit in well if you:
Enjoy working with others.
Work accurately and focus on quality.
Solve problems in a practical way.
Adapt when priorities change.
Look for ways to improve your work and processes.
You will receive structured onboarding and support from experienced colleagues.
You do not need to master every ASML process from day one; you will learn through coaching, hands-on experience, and clear work instructions.
As your experience grows, you can develop further in areas such as system integration, precision alignment, qualification, troubleshooting, process improvement, or technical coaching.
ASML supports continuous learning and offers opportunities to grow your technical expertise within a global high-tech environment.
