Job Description

The College of Education and Human Development invites applications for a 9-month, non-tenure track position at the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor, Early Childhood to begin Fall 2027. The successful candidate will be a practitioner-scholar who brings expertise from the field into the university classroom, supporting preservice teachers through coursework, mentorship, and field-based supervision. Rather than emphasizing a research agenda, this position centers on excellence in teaching, clinical practice, and service, including building strong partnerships with schools, families, and communities. Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to engaging students in experiential learning, fostering responsive and engaging practices, and contributing to program development and service at the department, college, and university levels.
