We're looking for a Corporate Counsel to join Atomic's legal team and serve as a key partner to the General Counsel. You'll combine substantive legal analysis on cutting-edge fintech issues,; negotiating commercial contracts, managing disputes, and providing legal advice to the risk committee — with hands-on involvement in legal operations, including maintaining and improving our contract and vendor management database.
This role is about building depth and resilience in a legal department that today relies on a single senior attorney. You'll handle some of the legal work that keeps the business moving while being mentored by the General Counsel to assume increasingly more varied and interesting responsibilities. You will have the opportunity to further develop as a well-rounded in-house lawyer with exposure to commercial transactions, regulatory matters, mergers and acquisitions, legal operations, cross-border transactions, disputes, privacy and corporate governance.
Atomic is a remote-first company; candidates based in the US are required, with New York metro or San Francisco Bay Area a plus.
