The Department of Chemistry at Bucknell University invites applications for a Professional Track faculty position to begin August 1, 2027. This includes access to a robust Teaching & Learning Center and funding for professional development and scholarly engagement. Although there is no scholarship requirement for this position, opportunities for mentoring undergraduate research students are available.
The Department of Chemistry is committed to delivering student-centered, active educational experiences for our students within one of the nation’s foremost liberal arts universities. Our department places a strong emphasis on high-impact educational practices, including the use of active learning, student-centered experiences in novel chemical research, and hands-on access to a uniquely strong collection of chemical instruments. A strong Cell Biology/Biochemistry Program is jointly provided by faculty across the Chemistry and Biology departments.
