Associate Creative Director (ACD), Craft
We are makers. We create because we are curious, and we believe that the best way to prove an idea works is to make it real.
As Associate Creative Director (ACD), GenAI, you will serve as a creative leader and technical pioneer within the Monks Google Studio, guiding and looking after our growing team of AI artists. Sitting at the intersection of traditional advertising craft and advanced generative AI workflows, you are responsible for leading the execution of exceptional stills, motion, and video content for major brand campaigns.
Reporting directly to the Group Creative Director of Craft & Innovation, you bring a high-craft background in traditional advertising storytelling combined with expertise in building well-defined, multi-model nodal pipelines. You deeply understand the "why" behind every story, ensuring that craft always serves the narrative. You go far beyond basic "prompt and pray" methods, bringing an uncompromising eye for detail to make every visual output beautiful and achieve invisible AI by seamlessly blending traditional craft with generative tools.
You will partner closely with ACDs and CDs across the creative organization during early creative development to help shape concepts that leverage GenAI effectively. As a dedicated teacher and mentor, you will drive knowledge-sharing initiatives across the broader creative team while actively nurturing the growth, skills, and careers of the AI artists in our studio.
At Monks, we believe in fostering an environment where a diversity of perspectives can thrive. We proactively work to design hiring processes that promote equity and inclusion while mitigating bias. We celebrate diversity and are committed to building a team that reflects the communities we serve. We welcome and encourage qualified applicants, from all backgrounds, who are excited to contribute to our mission.
Monks is committed to ensuring equal access and participation for people with disabilities. We are committed to treating people with disabilities in a way that allows them to maintain their dignity and independence. We believe in integration, and we are committed to meeting the needs of people with disabilities in a timely manner. We will do so by removing and preventing barriers to accessibility and by meeting our accessibility requirements under local accessibility laws.
