Role Summary:
AVP, Solution Architect, seeking a Technology Lead/Senior Technical Business Analyst to drive partner onboarding success by leading cross-shore teams focused on partner integration, testing, and resiliency. This role ensures integration environments are available and stable, and partners effectively with engineering, infrastructure, and product teams to execute strong change/release management and production readiness. You will troubleshoot integration issues end-to-end, perform root-cause analysis using logs and data, and coordinate fixes with Agile delivery teams. The role also includes building and managing testing enablement capabilities such as mock data, test intake workflows, test data management, and communication plans to improve quality and speed. The ideal candidate brings deep experience with SOAP/REST web services, Java and database fundamentals, SQL/NoSQL technologies, CI/CD (e.g., Jenkins), cloud platforms (PCF/AWS), and monitoring tools like Splunk, along with strong Agile execution, stakeholder management, mentorship skills, and flexibility to support critical releases/incidents.
Key responsibilities:
Lead multiple cross-shore technology teams focused on partner integration, partner testing, and resiliency disciplines in partner onboarding process
Influence and collaborate to ensure integration environment availability and effective change manage
Analyze integration defects, troubleshoot systems, identify root cause and implement fixes in collaboration with other Agile build teams
Develop and manage tools that facilitate testing, including but not limited to mock test data, testing intake requests, and communication plans
Strong technical understanding of Java coding, Database structures, Log analysis, Infrastructure layer to support the partner onboarding process
Mentor and influence up and down the chain of command
Participate in Agile scrums with cross-functional teams
Participate in agile sprints including planning, daily standups, backlog grooming sessions and reviews
Participate in the innovation workshop
Participate in regular presentation and update on improvement process and client onboarding progress
Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor's degree and 10 years of technology experience or equivalent leadership program experience including 3+ years experience on technical business analyst
Critical Thinking and Creativity
Excellence in communication with technical and non-technical peers
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
5+ years of experience building and consuming web services via SOAP and REST
5+ years of experience in SQL and NoSQL technologies, data modeling, query optimization, caching strategies, and transactional vs eventual consistency trade-offs.
Familiarity with Micro-Frontends and front-end platform governance is a plus.
Strong understanding of SDLC (Agile), release/change management, incident management, and production readiness expectations.
AI-assisted development proficiency (e.g., GitHub Copilot/enterprise LLM tools) to accelerate design, coding, testing, and documentation—used responsibly with security, privacy, and IP considerations.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills; ability to lead cross-team design discussions and drive alignment.
Flexibility to support critical releases/incidents as needed.
Deep Agile expertise
Strong cross-functional team player with the ability to work seamlessly across a matrix organization and partner with global development companies.
Experience with continuous integration environments like Jenkins
Experience building and deploying application on Pivotal Cloud Foundry, AWS, or other cloud environments
Experience with test data management, test case coverage, and associated maintenance
Experience using Splunk (or equivalent)
Experience automation and innovation of easing business onboarding problems
Ability and flexibility to travel for business as required

Work Timings: 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM IST
This role qualifies for Enhanced Flexibility offered in Synchrony India and will require the incumbent to be available between 06:00 AM Eastern Time – 11:30 AM Eastern Time (timings are anchored to US Eastern hours and will adjust twice a year locally). This window is for meetings with India and US teams. The remaining hours will be flexible for the employee to choose. Exceptions may apply periodically due to business needs) We are proud to offer flexibility at Synchrony. Our way of working allows you the option to work from home or workspaces in our Regional Engagement Hubs—Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Pune, Kolkata, or Delhi/NCR. Occasionally you may be required to commute or travel to Hyderabad or one of the Regional Engagement Hubs for in person engagement activities such as business or team meetings, trainings, and culture events.
