We are looking for a **Backend Engineer Intern** who is passionate about coding, problem-solving, and building scalable applications. You will work closely with our engineering team to develop backend services, build APIs, and contribute to real-world projects powering Clinikally's digital health and e-commerce platform.\

Key Responsibilities
* Assist in developing, testing, and maintaining **backend services and RESTful APIs**.
* Write **clean, efficient, and maintainable code** using Python and TypeScript.
* Support the development of backend systems for **teleconsultations, e-commerce, and logistics workflows**.
* Work with **databases such as PostgreSQL and Redis** for data storage and retrieval.
* Assist in integrating backend services with third-party APIs and internal applications.
* Identify, debug, and resolve technical issues with guidance from senior engineers.
* Collaborate with **frontend, product, and engineering teams** to develop and deliver new features.
* Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation.
* Learn and implement best practices for backend development, performance, and security.
Requirements
* Currently pursuing or recently completed a [**B.Tech/B.E**](http://B.Tech/B.E)**. in Computer Science, IT, or a related field**.
* Good understanding of **Python and/or TypeScript**.
* Basic knowledge of **REST APIs, databases, and backend development concepts**.
* Familiarity with **SQL and relational databases**.
* Understanding of **Data Structures, Algorithms, and Object-Oriented Programming**.
* Strong analytical, logical reasoning, and **problem-solving skills**.
* Willingness to learn new technologies and work on real-world engineering challenges.
* Comfortable working in a **fast-paced startup environment**.
Good to Have
* Exposure to backend frameworks such as **FastAPI, NestJS, or similar frameworks**.
* Familiarity with **PostgreSQL, Redis, or other databases**.
* Basic understanding of **microservices architecture and asynchronous processing**.
* Knowledge of **Git, Docker, or AWS**.
* Previous internships, academic projects, or personal projects involving backend development.
