Position Summary:
The Sky House Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in a timely, courteous, and professional manner. They ensure a clean and well-stocked bar, maintain knowledge of drink recipes and bar equipment, and provide excellent customer service to enhance the guest experience.
Typical shift is 8:00am-4:30pm and must have open availability during weekends and holidays.
Essential Functions and Major Responsibilities:
Specific Job Skills:
License/Certifications- Idaho State Police Alcohol Beverage Training Certificate, we will help you acquire.
Technical- Basic computer knowledge and comfortable with a computer based point of sale (Squirrel is our current system).
Physical Capabilities- Able to stand or walk for up to 8 hours per shift. Will lift to 30 lbs. occasionally. Ability to ski or snowboard at an intermediate level is preferred. Exposed to ice/snow coming to and from work.
Additional- Strong attention to detail. Must be capable of managing and performing multiple tasks simultaneously.
Education/Related Experience:
Minimum education required- English reading, writing and communication; plus basic math.
Minimum time in related position- Minimum 1+ year bartending experience with demonstrated competence; wine knowledge preferred with demonstrated competence.
