Job Overview
We're looking for a BI Lead to build and own the data backbone that powers every decision at Jetpac. This role demands someone who's equally strong technically and commercially: hands-on with SQL, data models and dashboards, but also strategic enough to shape how the company measures growth. You'll own the single source of truth for our metrics and partner closely with marketing, product, finance and leadership. If you're someone who gets a kick out of turning messy data into crisp answers, and can tell CAC from LTV from cohort retention in your sleep, you'll fit right in.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Ownership
- Define and drive Jetpac's BI and reporting roadmap in line with business priorities
- Own the company's core metrics framework (revenue, orders, CAC, ROAS, LTV, retention, churn) and be the single source of truth for them
- Set standards for metric definitions, data quality and governance across teams
- Prioritise incoming data requests and balance quick answers with long-term infrastructure
Data Modelling & Infrastructure
- Design and maintain scalable data models and a clean semantic layer in the data warehouse
- Build and own ETL/ELT pipelines from product, payments, marketing, CRM and support sources
- Partner with engineering to improve event tracking, data collection and pipeline reliability
- Set up monitoring and checks to catch data issues before stakeholders do
Dashboards & Reporting
- Build and maintain self-serve dashboards for leadership, marketing, product, finance and operations
- Deliver weekly and monthly business reviews with clear, actionable insights
- Automate recurring reports and reduce manual effort across teams
- Make data accessible and easy to use for non-technical stakeholders
Analytics & Insights
- Run deep dives on acquisition, conversion funnels, cohorts, pricing and retention
- Support marketing with attribution, channel performance and budget allocation analysis
- Partner with product on A/B test design, measurement and readouts
- Use data to craft compelling narratives around what's working, what's not, and what's next
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with marketing, product, finance, CRM and customer support teams to understand their data needs
- Work with leadership to translate business questions into analysis and metrics
- Coordinate with engineering on data availability and new tracking requirements
Reporting & Documentation
- Present insights, growth hypotheses and recommendations to leadership
- Maintain a clear data dictionary and documentation of metrics, models and dashboards
- Track and communicate key decisions on definitions and data changes
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in business intelligence, analytics or data roles
- Expert-level SQL and strong experience with data modelling (dimensional modelling, star schemas)
- Hands-on experience building dashboards in at least one major BI tool (Looker, Tableau, Power BI or Metabase)
- Experience with cloud data warehouses such as BigQuery, Snowflake or Redshift
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics or a related field
- Strong understanding of e-commerce or consumer-app metrics: funnels, cohorts, CAC, LTV, retention
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain data to non-technical audiences
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-ownership startup environment
Preferred Experience
- Prior experience in a tech startup or high-growth DTC brand
- Background in travel, telecom or fintech verticals is a strong plus
- Familiarity with eSIM or digital telco space is a bonus
Desired Skills
- Proficiency in Python for analysis and automation
- Familiarity with product analytics tools such as GA4, Posthog or Amplitude
- Familiarity with marketing data sources and MMPs like AppsFlyer or Branch
- Knowledge of A/B testing, statistics and experiment design
- Strong data storytelling and visualisation skills
What We Offer:
- Competitive salary and excellent performance-based incentives.
- Flexible work arrangements with remote or hybrid options.
- Opportunity to work with a dynamic and innovative global team.
- Career growth and professional development opportunities
