At Backpack Healthcare, we believe every child and family deserves access to high-quality, culturally responsive mental health care. We provide virtual behavioral health services to children, teens, and young adults — covered by most insurance.
We’re growing across Illinois, and Spanish-speaking families are looking for clinicians who understand their language, culture, and experiences.
If you're a bilingual therapist who believes culturally responsive care isn't an added benefit — it's essential to effective care — we'd love to have you join us.
As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you'll provide compassionate, trauma-informed care through telehealth while partnering with families to support meaningful, lasting change.
You'll manage a caseload of 15–36 sessions per week, with the flexibility to choose part-time or full-time.
Your day-to-day will include:
Scheduling: Most clinicians work weekday afternoons and evenings, typically 2:00–9:00 PM EST. Weekend availability is a plus.
We want our clinicians to feel supported, valued, and empowered to grow.
Eligible clinicians have the opportunity to earn an additional monthly performance-based bonus based on applicable productivity and performance criteria. It's another way Backpack recognizes clinicians who consistently deliver high-quality care while meeting established expectations.
We're looking for compassionate clinicians who are passionate about helping children, teens, and families thrive.

Strongly Preferred:
Since 2020, we've supported 12,000+ children and families through accessible, virtual behavioral healthcare.
And we're focused on outcomes: 78% of families report that their child is doing better after three months of care.
But our work isn't just about numbers.
It's about helping a child feel understood. Helping a parent feel supported. And making sure families don't have to choose between quality care and care that understands who they are.
When clinicians thrive, kids thrive. That's not just a tagline — it's how we build. 🎒💜
If you're passionate about accessible, culturally responsive mental health care — and especially if you can provide care in both English and Spanish — we'd love to meet you.
