As part of the Duck Creek Developer team you engage in requirement gathering in the Property & Casualty insurance domain, specifically with hands-on experience in Duck Creek Policy systems. As a Senior Associate you analyze complex problems, mentor others, and uphold elevated standards. You focus on building client relationships and developing a deeper understanding of the business context, while navigating increasingly complex situations to grow your personal brand and technical proficiency.
Responsibilities
- Assists in defining and reviewing the technical requirements for the Duck Creek application, including security, integration, performance, quality, and operations requirements
- Designs individual technology components of the application development, execution, or operations architecture
- Develops and configures customized software products/systems to meet client requirements as well as build and support specialized customizations to the core asset software including conversions, interfaces, enhancements and user interface modifications.
- Customizes products to customer specifications, which may include customized user interface and integrating with third party software Partners with other engineers and the Technical Architect to ensure the architecture components interact to fulfill the requirements and meet performance goals
- Develops application prototype and conduct conference room pilot to evaluate solution options
- Confirms the completeness and consistency of the design deliverables.
- Resolves any inconsistencies discovered Informs the Technical Architect and Project Manager of any issues that may affect any other project areas Participates in quality management reviews as outlined in the Quality Management practice to ensure adherence to all quality management plans and standard
What You Must Have
- Must have technical knowledge of overall Duckcreek Billing, and Insights to lead integration
- Must have detailed understanding on Duckcreek Billing Architecture (Multi tenant Cloud version) , Data Model, UI design, processes and events
- Identifies and addresses any application and data issues that affect application integrity
- Identifies and communicates any cross-area or cross-release issues that may affect other project areas
- Hands-on development experience in Microsoft .NET including C#, ASP.NET and SQL Server
- Experience in Integrations with Billing and Portals
- Experience in DuckCreek Party and Billing Configuration
- Experience in Third Party Integrations
- Hands-on experience in Billing -Configuration and Console modules, Configuring Customizing Party Module, Task Creation, Configuring Customizing, Extension and Advanced Extension points, customizing Automated Reserves, etc.
- Good knowledge on Insurance domain
What Sets You Apart
- Familiarity of Commercial Lines products including, but not limited to: Auto, General Liability (GL), Inland Marine, Property, and Professional Liability.
- Familiarity with rating, Output forms and integrations within Duck Creek.
- Experience in supporting UAT and facilitating demo sessions or workshops with clients.
