Business Development Representative (EMEA)

About Incode

Incode is a Series B unicorn rewriting how the world proves identity. Our AI-powered platform lets leading banks, fintechs, marketplaces, and governments deliver friction-free experiences while defeating fraud and safeguarding privacy. Customers such as Citi, AirBnB, Block, Chime, Sixt, and TikTok rely on Incode to power their identity verification and security. Recently named a leader in the Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Identity Verification, we're scaling fast - and we're looking for a Business Development Representative who can open doors with some of the biggest names across EMEA.

The Impact You’ll Make

Fraud has changed. Deepfakes, synthetic identities, and AI-generated documents can now get past traditional checks, and every bank, fintech, and marketplace is working out how to keep up. As a Business Development Representative, you'll be one of the first people these companies hear from at Incode. You'll be talking to heads of fraud, risk, and product about one of the hardest problems on their agenda. You'll need to understand it well enough to make that conversation worth their time. In this role, curiosity pays off as much as persistence. Your work is visible from day one: every conversation you open feeds directly into our pipeline, revenue, and growth across EMEA. You'll work hand-in-hand with our Account Executives to turn those conversations into real opportunities.

Location & Work Setup

This is a hybrid role based in our London office. We're together on-site two days a week, Wednesday and Thursday. Your office days are fixed, so you can plan the rest of your week around your life.

What You’ll Own & Drive

• Outbound Outreach - Create qualified opportunities through phone, email, LinkedIn and whichever channel your prospect actually responds to.
• Real Conversations - Pick up the phone every day and turn cold calls into genuine two-way conversations. Activity levels are high in this role, and so is the value we place on listening well.
• Research & Account Planning - Get to know your target accounts, understand who's who, and shape outreach that feels personal rather than scripted.
• Discovery & Qualification - Ask good questions, listen closely, and understand a prospect's challenges before working out together whether Incode is the right fit.
• Building Pipeline - Create and nurture opportunities that feed directly into our sales pipeline and revenue targets. Your impact will be clear, measurable and recognised.
• AI-Powered Prospecting - Use AI tools to research faster, personalise better and free up more time for the conversations that matter.
• Events & Community - Represent Incode at industry events, conferences and customer dinners alongside the wider sales team. You'll build relationships in person as well as online.
• Keeping Things Organised - Keep CRM records accurate and up to date so the whole team can see where every relationship stands.
• Partnering with Sales - Work closely with Account Executives and Sales Leadership on account strategy. You'll help shape the plan, not just work through a list.

The Qualities That Set You Apart

• You Enjoy a Good Conversation - Picking up the phone doesn't faze you, or if it does a little, you do it anyway. You know real conversations are where great sales begin.
• Self-Starter - You create opportunities rather than waiting for them. A "no" doesn't knock you off course. You learn from it and move on to the next call.
• Curious About AI - You're already experimenting with AI tools and always looking for smarter ways to research, write and reach out.
• Credible with Senior People - You communicate clearly and professionally, and you're comfortable talking to directors and executives as a peer.
• Thoughtful & Strategic - You balance a high level of activity with real research, so every message feels like it was written for one person.
• Relationship Builder - You like meeting new people and enjoy representing a company you believe in, whether that's on a call, at a conference or over dinner with a customer.
• Organised & Reliable - You stay on top of your activity, pipeline and follow-ups, and people can count on you to do what you say you'll do.
• Team Player - You work well with Sales, Marketing and Customer Success, and you celebrate shared wins as much as your own.

Your Background

• 3+ years of experience in a BDR, SDR, or outbound sales role
• Experience in B2B SaaS
• A track record of creating pipeline through outbound outreach, including cold calling
• Clear, natural communication on the phone and in writing
• Experience using sales tools such as Cognism, ZoomInfo, Outreach, and Salesforce
• Comfortable using AI tools day-to-day, and keen to learn more
• Happy to attend industry events and networking opportunities as part of the role

Nice to have:

• Experience in fintech, identity, cybersecurity, or a related field.

Why Incode?

• Mission with Meaning -  Help shape how billions of people prove who they are online, safely, simply, and ethically.
• A Product That Opens Doors - You'll be introducing a three-time Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ Leader to the companies that need it most, so your outreach starts from real credibility.
• Growth You Can See - Incode is scaling fast, and in EMEA the pipeline you build directly shapes how we grow.
• A Truly Global Team - Work alongside 600+ colleagues from 25+ nationalities, where different backgrounds and perspectives are the norm.
• Context, Not Control - You'll have room to test new approaches and messaging for your accounts, with continuous feedback along the way.
