This is a newly created executive role on the executive leadership team, reporting directly to the CEO. What You’ll Do
AI Strategy & Innovation
Set the company-wide AI vision and multi-year roadmap across product, engineering, operations, and GTM
Identify and prioritize AI use cases that drive measurable business outcomes — from automation to predictive intelligence
Evaluate and implement AI-enabled capabilities across product and internal operations
Establish AI governance frameworks, model risk standards, and responsible AI practices
Drive monetization and operational use of data assets where appropriate
Evaluate and manage strategic relationships with AI vendors, platforms, and research partners
Serve as an internal evangelist and external spokesperson on AI innovation
Technology & Engineering Leadership
Own the technology roadmap and engineering organization, ensuring alignment with business strategy and product goals
Execute the company’s long-term technology vision and roadmap
Align technology investments with strategic business priorities, growth initiatives, and customer requirements
Partner with the CPO to embed AI capabilities natively into Elemica’s product suite
Drive architecture decisions, platform scalability, and technical standards across the engineering organization
Oversee technology infrastructure, security posture, and operational reliability
Establish KPIs and operational metrics across engineering velocity, uptime, quality, and technical debt
Ensure systems are scalable, secure, resilient, and capable of supporting enterprise customers
Modernize architecture where appropriate, including cloud infrastructure, APIs, integrations, and data platforms
Lead infrastructure optimization and cloud cost management initiatives
Oversee technical due diligence for acquisitions, partnerships, and integrations
Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing engineering and technology leaders
Build an accountable, execution-oriented engineering culture
What You’ll Need
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field; advanced degree a plus
15+ years in technology leadership, with experience spanning both engineering leadership and AI/ML
Deep technical fluency in AI/ML — including LLMs, generative AI, and applied machine learning
Proven experience leading and scaling engineering organizations in B2B SaaS or enterprise software environments
Demonstrated ability to translate AI and technology capability into product features and measurable business value
Strong executive presence; able to influence C-suite peers and present confidently to the Board
History of building and retaining high-performing technical teams
Comfortable operating in ambiguity and driving clarity in fast-moving environments
