Job Description

The Clinical Data Specialist will serve as a technical resource for collection, entry, analysis, verification and reporting of clinical outcomes and quality data. Prepares, maintains and distributes regular and ad hoc statistical reports. The Clinical Data Specialist works with the Service Line Director and project collaborators to perform data collection and extraction of data sets and reports for Service Line-wide databases, registries and hospital systems. Serves as a member of the performance improvement team, attending committee meetings as assigned in ensuring quality data collection and reporting.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree required

Two (2) years in a job with related job responsibilities.

At least two (2) years clinical data experience preferred.

Demonstrated project management experience and excellent communication skills. 

Background in both data management and analytical skills in healthcare environment.

Acute healthcare reporting experience preferred.

Experience with Epic Systems preferred.

Salary Range:

$57.75 - $86.62 USD Hour
