We’re always interested in connecting with great clinicians — even if we don’t currently have an opening in your state.
This general application is for behavioral health professionals who would like to be considered for current or future opportunities with Affect, including:
Licensed Mental Health Therapists
Licensed or Certified Substance Use Disorder Counselors
Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs) with active DEA registration
If we don't currently have a need that matches your state, license, or specialty, we still encourage you to apply. With your permission, we can keep your information on file as Affect continues to grow and expand.
If you're interested in Affect, we also encourage you to visit www.affect.com and look around! You can learn more about who we are, the Members we serve, our approach to care, and what we're building.
Affect is transforming behavioral health care by making high-quality mental health and substance use disorder treatment more accessible through technology and compassionate, evidence-based care.
Our 100% virtual model brings together licensed clinicians, medical providers, innovative technology, and a dedicated care team to support Members wherever they are in their journey.
We provide care for individuals navigating a range of behavioral health needs — from anxiety, depression, and trauma to substance use disorders, including opioid, stimulant, alcohol, and cannabis use disorders.
Most importantly, there are real people behind the technology. Our clinicians and care teams build meaningful relationships with Members while helping remove barriers that too often prevent people from getting the care they need.
We welcome applications from licensed mental health professionals, including:
LPC • LMHC • LCSW • LMFT • LPCC • LCPC and equivalent clinical licenses
Depending on the state and license, we may also be able to support certain non-independently licensed clinicians.
Mental Health opportunities may include full-time and part-time schedules, depending on our needs in each state. You must also be licensed in your resident state.
We're interested in connecting with licensed or certified addiction and substance use disorder counselors who are passionate about recovery and evidence-based treatment.
Because SUD credential names and requirements vary considerably by state, we encourage you to apply and provide the exact license or certification you hold and the state in which it was issued. You must also be licensed in your resident state.
Our SUD Counselors provide virtual individual and group counseling and work collaboratively with medical providers and the broader care team.
We're also interested in connecting with licensed PMHNPs with active DEA registration.
Experience treating substance use disorders and prescribing buprenorphine/Suboxone is required.
PMHNP candidates should hold an active, unrestricted license and prescriptive authority in their state of practice and have an active DEA registration. You must be licensed in your resident state.
Depending on the position, state, and employment status, opportunities with Affect may include:
100% remote care
Full-time and select part-time opportunities. ***Please note that Substance Use Disorder Counselor positions are full-time only.
W-2 compensation for eligible clinical roles rather than per-session pay
Medical, dental, and vision benefits for eligible employees
Paid vacation, sick time, and company-observed holidays for eligible employees
401(k)
Employer-paid life and disability insurance for eligible employees
Continuing education and professional development opportunities
Technology designed to reduce administrative burden, including AI-powered clinical documentation support for therapists
A collaborative, multidisciplinary clinical team
The opportunity to help expand access to behavioral health care across the country
Because telehealth licensing requirements vary by state, all professional licenses and certifications must be active and verifiable through the appropriate state licensing board or credentialing authority.
Affect generally requires clinicians to hold an active, equivalent clinical license or credential in their state of residence, as well as the state(s) in which they will provide care.
Our hiring needs also vary by state and can change as Affect expands. If we don't have the right opportunity for you today, that doesn't mean we won't have one in the future.
That's exactly why we created this General Application.
Tell us about your experience, credentials, states of licensure, and the type of opportunity you're interested in. If there's a potential match now, our Recruiting Team can reach out. If not, we can keep your information in mind as future opportunities become available.
