We're part of the Builder Platform - the team building the foundation Remitly's engineering runs on. That foundation is no longer just for people: we're building for AI agents as first-class users of our platform too. If you want to shape cloud infrastructure for both the developers and the agents that will build on it, this is that seat.
The Cloud Team designs, builds, and operates Remitly's AWS cloud foundation - the networking fabric and infrastructure tooling that every product team depends on. We manage cloud infrastructure at significant scale (hundreds to thousands of accounts), move money for millions of customers, and treat reliability, security, and operational excellence as non-negotiable.
As a Cloud Engineer, you'll focus on our cloud networking stack and the code that defines and automates it - Terraform and Go. You'll design and build network topology in Terraform, operate connectivity that every product team and payments partner depends on, and troubleshoot complex issues across a large multi-account, multi-region AWS environment. You'll work alongside senior engineers who lead our larger architecture efforts, growing your depth as you take on more ownership over time.
This is a hands-on engineering role. You’ll manage and operate networks at real scale, and you’ll also build and maintain the Go services that run our platform. If you come from networking or DevOps, you should already be comfortable writing production code - we’ll actively support you in going deeper in Go and our platform.

Compensation Details
The starting base salary range for this position is typically zł 245,000 - 275,000 per annum. In Poland, Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan. Your recruiter can share more information about medical benefits offered, as well as other financial benefits and total compensation components offered with this role.
Remitly Poland applies increased tax deductible costs (KUP) to remuneration earned by certain qualifying employees (to the extent an employee will be involved in the creation of the software as an "author") for the transfer of copyrights, in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Personal Income Tax Act.
