Our team is looking for an Cloud Storage Engineer with programming skills.
In this role you will be building Object storage and File storage platforms.
You will be building APIs and Automations that will support consumption and management of Namespaces, Buckets and File Shares as fully automated self-help system to our consumers.
The team
You will join diverse team of young and experienced engineers who manage existing Cloud Storage platforms which include Object Storage with DELL ECS and Minio, as well as file storage with DELL Isilon.
The team follows DevOps way of working and is managing existing platforms as well as building new features using API in Golang.
In this role you will be working closely with this team and Control Plane APIs.
Roles and responsibilities
- As a Cloud Storage Engineer you will be responsible for engineering and supporting ING's internal Object and File storage platforms. Learning how Cloud Storage solutions (Object, File) operate with our Infra Ecosystem and dependencies.
- As DevOps engineer, working on Product backlog and refining features for current and new platforms.
- Designing and building new features as APIs (preferably in Golang) to offer our platforms with Infra as a Service.
- Testing and Automating the platform processes.
- Building integrations of various Infra systems to help end-to-end Customer journeys.
- Document the features and processes on internal wiki and present them in Cloud Roadshows
