Our team collaborates out of our Tokyo presence to share best practices, align on strategy, and build strong shared momentum across Japan and the broader APAC organization.
At the same time, this is an in-market role. Success in Japan requires high-touch engagement, staying close to customers and channel partners, and participating in local market events. Domestic travel within Japan is expected.
While Commercial sellers, Enterprise sellers, Partner Managers, and Sales Engineers may align to different reporting lines, we operate as one integrated team with collective responsibility for driving market adoption and making Horizon3 a trusted security standard in Japan.
Drive Commercial business growth across Japan through direct customer engagement, channel collaboration, and disciplined execution.
Build healthy pipeline and secure new logo wins tailored to the nuances of Japanese corporate buying cycles.
Manage opportunities with meticulous follow-through, integrity, and clear accountability at every stage.
Partner closely with systems integrators (SIs), distributors, MSSPs, Enterprise sellers, Partner Managers, and Sales Engineers to maximize ecosystem reach.
Contribute to territory and partner business plans, translating strategy into measurable sales outcomes.
Interface with Marketing, Channel, Sales Engineering, Deal Desk, and global leadership to advance deals smoothly.
Channel local market feedback, buyer requirements, and competitive dynamics back to global product and leadership teams.
Act as a credible ambassador for Horizon3 across the Japanese cybersecurity community.
Continuously develop your technical understanding of the Horizon3 platform and refine your commercial effectiveness.
Success in this role means establishing strong regional traction and contributing to a durable, repeatable sales engine in Japan.
You will be successful if you:
Consistently win new commercial logos and expand market share across target verticals.
Establish long-term trust and rapport with end customers, executive sponsors, and channel partners.
Manage sales cycles with predictable forecasting, rigorous follow-up, and strong operational hygiene.
Ramp up efficiently and steadily scale your impact within the region.
Provide actionable market intelligence to guide regional product positioning and go-to-market strategy.
We are looking for an experienced sales professional who thrives in a scaling, high-growth environment and enjoys establishing a market footprint.
Strong candidates will bring:
4+ years of quota-carrying, direct closing experience in B2B software, IT infrastructure, or cybersecurity in Japan.
A strong track record in Commercial or mid-market segments, with an understanding of multi-tiered enterprise decision-making processes.
Proven experience leveraging two-tier distribution models, major Japanese systems integrators (SIs), and MSSP partners.
Sound business acumen with the ability to navigate consensus-driven buying cycles and complex stakeholder maps.
Strong sense of ownership, personal accountability, and attention to detail throughout the sales cycle.
Adaptability, intellectual curiosity, and a willingness to operate in a high-growth environment where frameworks and processes are still evolving.
Native-level Japanese fluency (essential for customer negotiations and business correspondence) and strong business-level English proficiency for cross-border alignment with global leadership and technical teams.
A collaborative builder mindset: proactive, customer-centric, and dedicated to elevating Horizon3's brand presence and market reach in Japan.
Japan represents a critical, high-potential market for Horizon3's global expansion. This is an opportunity to be on the ground floor of building our presence in-country, working closely with top-tier partners and customers to define how autonomous security assessment establishes itself across the region.
