Consulting Lead - Strategic supply chain, Data, AI transformation programs (Chemical / Industrial / Manufacturing / Oil & Gas)
Location: Amsterdam (Onsite) 2 – 3 days

Role Overview
The Consulting Lead will serve as the onsite client-facing lead for the clients strategic data, analytics, and transformation initiatives. The role will drive stakeholder alignment, program governance, delivery oversight, and value realization while acting as the bridge between client leadership and global delivery teams.
In parallel, the individual will provide leadership across SAP BW support, data modernization, and analytics platform transformation initiatives, helping define target-state architectures, modernization roadmaps, and migration strategies to support long-term digital transformation objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the primary onsite point of contact for business and technology stakeholders
Lead strategic transformation programs spanning Supply Chain, Data Modernization, Analytics, and AI
Drive program governance, executive reporting, stakeholder communication, and delivery oversight
Lead steering committees, workshops, and business reviews to align on priorities and outcomes
Partner with client IT and architecture teams to define data modernization and analytics roadmaps
Guide SAP BW support, enhancement, and modernization initiatives
Support migration planning from legacy SAP BW environments to modern data platforms
Drive alignment between onsite stakeholders and offshore engineering teams
Oversee technical governance, solution reviews, and delivery quality
Identify opportunities to improve platform scalability, data quality, and operational efficiency
Support account growth through trusted client relationships and strategic advisory
Mentor consultants and workstream leads to promote delivery excellence
Required Qualifications
15+ years of experience in consulting, program management, or data transformation roles
Proven experience leading client-facing transformation programs
Experience working with SAP BW, enterprise data platforms, or analytics ecosystems
Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
Experience managing globally distributed onsite-offshore teams
Understanding of data modernization, migration, and analytics transformation initiatives
Ability to bridge business objectives with technology and architecture decisions
Strong governance, problem-solving, and risk management capabilities
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Chemicals, Manufacturing, Distribution, or Industrial sectors
Exposure to Supply Chain Planning, and SIOP programs
Experience with SAP BW, SAP ECC/S4, AWS, Databricks, and Power BI
Experience supporting SAP BW modernization, migration, or large-scale enhancement initiatives
Familiarity with AI and GenAI-enabled analytics solutions
German or Dutch language proficiency preferred
