About Payrails

Payrails is a global payment software company helping leading enterprises to take control of their payment operations and maximize performance. With deep experience in the payments space and firsthand knowledge of merchants' challenges, we’ve seen how fragmented, complex, and inefficient these systems can become. Now, we are setting a new industry standard for how enterprises around the world manage and optimize payments, with more control, visibility and flexibility than ever before.

Our vision is to reimagine payments from the ground up. We are building a deeply integrated meta layer that spans the entire payment lifecycle with a modular architecture. This helps us give leading brands building blocks to craft solutions to most complex operational challenges, tailor seamless customer experiences and grow their business.

We are backed by some of the world’s top investors including Andreessen Horowitz, HV Capital, EQT Ventures and General Catalyst, who share our mission to simplify payment complexity globally.

At Payrails, we’re committed to building a team of exceptional people - not just talented, but driven to build, solve, and deliver at the highest level. Excellence isn’t just a value here; it’s a way of working. We believe that great people thrive in environments where there’s trust, clarity, and shared purpose. We work openly and collaboratively, with deep respect for each other’s craft. Everyone is encouraged to understand the bigger picture - what we’re building, why it matters, and what stands in the way. When people have that context, they move faster, take ownership, and make better decisions. We care about creating a culture where people feel inspired to do their best work and a deep sense of responsibility to help us bring our vision to life. Success at Payrails means staying focused on the problems that matter most, and executing with purpose.

Your team

At Payrails, Marketing is a creative and strategic engine that shapes how the world experiences our product. Sitting at the intersection of storytelling, product, and go-to-market, our mission is to make Payrails instinctively understood, relevant, and trusted by modern enterprises around the globe.

We focus on three core pillars:

• Deeply understanding our customers and their evolving challenges - by continuously listening, researching, and engaging across markets and segments

• Crafting sharp, differentiated narratives - built on clarity, insight, and a strong editorial and visual voice

• Driving scalable growth through rapid experimentation - testing and iterating across content, channels, and experiences to unlock what moves the needle

Marketing at Payrails operates with a fast pace and precision. We move quickly, value thoughtful execution, and aim for lasting impact over short-term noise. We’re ambitious about quality - from the way we tell our story, to how we measure results, to the brand experience we deliver at every touchpoint.

You’ll be joining a team of hands-on builders who blend creativity with analytical rigor, and who take full ownership of their craft. If you’re excited by the opportunity to shape how an emerging category is defined and want to experiment, learn, and scale what works, you will thrive here.

How you will make an impact

• Shape the strategy behind what we publish, why it matters, and how it aligns with our voice, product, and customers

• Translate complex technical and product ideas into clear, well-structured content that speaks to enterprise audiences

• Raise the bar for quality ensuring every piece we ship reflects our standards for clarity, precision, and usefulness

• Work across teams (Product, Marketing, Sales) to plan content that supports launches, explains our value, and builds trust

• Build and maintain content guidelines and systems that help us scale without losing consistency or craft

• Help define how Payrails shows up in the market - not just through what we say, but how well we say it

What we are looking for

• You bring 5+ years of experience planning and creating content in fast-growing tech or SaaS companies - with a strong track record of shaping narratives, developing brand voice, and building high-quality editorial systems that drive meaningful business results

• You approach content like a strategist always asking what purpose it serves, who it’s for, and how it connects to business goals

• You’re fluent with AI tools such as LLMs and AI writing and research assistants, and you use them every day to research faster, explore angles and scale production. You use AI to speed up the work, but you still apply your own judgment, fact-check, and edit so that everything we publish meets our standards for accuracy, voice and quality
