Role Overview:
Join Maxis as a Contract Management Developer Intern, where you will gain hands-on experience supporting contract governance, compliance monitoring, and digital transformation initiatives within the contract management function. This role offers exposure to contract lifecycle processes, business intelligence development, data analytics, and emerging AI technologies, while working closely with stakeholders to improve operational efficiency and contract visibility.

Value-Added Project
The intern will have the opportunity to work on impactful digital transformation projects within the Contract Management team, including:
1. Business Intelligence & Dashboard Development
Integrate and automate data extraction from multiple data sources
Identify and define business logic for discount and incentive calculations
Perform data cleaning, transformation, and preparation
Develop BI dashboards for tracking, reporting, and business insights
Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) for Contract Management
Build pipelines to collate contracts from multiple repositories
Perform OCR, text extraction, and table extraction across Word, PDF, and Excel documents
Process documents through chunking, metadata tagging, and clause structuring
Support the setup of storage architecture, including object storage, SQL databases, and vector databases
Assist in implementing embedding models and Large Language Model (LLM) integrations for RAG-based contract querying
These projects provide valuable exposure to real-world applications of AI, data engineering, business intelligence, and contract digitisation.
Required Skills:
Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
Strong interest in data analytics, automation, and AI technologies
Basic knowledge of databases, SQL, or data processing concepts
Familiarity with business intelligence and data visualisation tools is an advantage
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good communication and collaboration abilities
Proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn
