We have an excellent opportunity for a Control Systems Safety Engineer to join the Software Systems Capability function in Derby on a permanent full-time basis.

The Controls Systems Safety Engineer shall specify, validate and verify safety aspects of complex sub-systems, including high-level requirements for the software and / or hardware system components, this will include creation of mathematical safety models and safety arguments.
What you will be doing:
As a Controls Systems Safety Engineer, you will own the delivery and quality of control and instrumentation sub-systems safety deliverables. You will translate high-level requirements into validated designs, ensuring systems meet performance, safety, and verification standards through analysis, modelling, and testing.
