About Everest:
Everest is a global leader in risk management, rooted in a rich, 50+ year heritage of enabling businesses to survive and thrive, and economies to function and flourish. We are underwriters of risk, growth, progress and opportunity. We are a global team focused on disciplined capital allocation and long-term value creation for all stakeholders, who care deeply about our impact on communities and the wider world.
About the Opportunity
Everest is looking for a commercially minded legal professional to join its growing Legal team in a newly created role focused on Third Party Risk Management.
This is an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of a global insurance and reinsurance business, supporting how Everest engages with vendors, consultants and outsourced service providers. Combining commercial contract negotiation, regulatory horizon scanning and third-party risk management, you'll play a key role in helping the business navigate legal and regulatory requirements while enabling strong commercial outcomes.
You'll join a lean, hardworking team that believes in empowering its people, encouraging continuous learning and fostering a culture where feedback flows openly in both directions. The team is passionate about delivering the best outcomes for internal and external clients, values integrity and collaboration, and gives individuals the autonomy and ownership to make a meaningful impact without micromanagement.
Whilst we are ideally seeking a qualified lawyer with some post-qualification experience, we would also welcome applications from experienced paralegals with strong commercial contracts experience who are looking to broaden their responsibilities and take the next step in their career within a dynamic in-house legal environment.
About the Team
The Legal team partners closely with stakeholders across the business to help Everest manage risk, support growth and meet its regulatory obligations. The team takes a pragmatic, commercial approach and is committed to building trusted relationships while delivering high-quality legal support.
This is a safe, supportive environment where people are encouraged to learn, develop and contribute ideas. Team members are given real ownership from day one and are trusted to take responsibility for their work while being supported by experienced colleagues.
