The ProdataKey Data Insights Intern will support the collection, analysis, and reporting of
business data to help drive informed decision-making across the organization. Working
alongside the Data Analyst and business stakeholders, the intern will gain hands-on experience
with data reporting, visualization, and business intelligence tools while contributing to projects
that support sales, finance, product, operations, engineering, and customer service teams.
This role is ideal for a college student pursuing a degree in a quantitative or technical field who
is interested in developing practical data analytics skills in a fast-paced technology company.
What You’ll Do
- Assist with daily, weekly, and monthly reporting and data analysis activities.
- Support the creation and maintenance of dashboards, reports, and visualizations that
- provide actionable business insights.
- Help collect, organize, clean, and validate data from multiple systems and sources.
- Collaborate with team members to identify key metrics and performance indicators
- across the business.
- Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for operational improvement.
- Assist in documenting data sources, business definitions, reporting processes, and data
- workflows.
- Support data quality initiatives by identifying inconsistencies and helping resolve data
- issues.
- Participate in ad hoc analysis projects and present findings to stakeholders as
- appropriate.
- Learn and apply data analytics best practices, tools, and methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science,
- Information Systems, Economics, Finance, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, or a
- related field.
- Junior, senior, or graduate-level standing preferred.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets, including formulas, pivot tables,
- and data analysis functions.
- Exposure to Python, R, or another programming language used for data analysis is a
- plus.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar
- platforms is preferred but not required.
- Understanding of basic statistical concepts and analytical methods.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate findings clearly through written and verbal communication.
- Eagerness to learn new technologies, tools, and business processes.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
