As a Data Governance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding sensitive data and systems from cyber threats through risk assessments and security audits. Within our Cybersecurity practice, you will focus on developing secure systems and providing proactive solutions to maintain the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets for clients. As a Manager, you will lead teams and manage client accounts, focusing on strategic planning and mentoring junior staff. You are accountable for project success and maintaining standards, motivating and inspiring others to deliver quality. You will leverage team strengths and manage performance to meet client expectations, while embracing technology and innovation to enhance delivery.
In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will design, develop, and maintain metadata processing solutions using tools such as Ab Initio Meta Hub, Informatica EDC, Alation, Collibra, and OvalEdge software. Collaborating with business analysts and data architects, you will implement data integration solutions for metadata, data lineage, and data quality. Your responsibilities will include conducting data analysis, documenting data models, and resolving issues identified from data mapping and conversions, confirming compliance with data governance frameworks and improving data integrity and security.
Responsibilities
- Designing and maintaining metadata processing solutions using tools like Ab Initio Meta Hub, Informatica EDC, and Collibra
- Developing data integration solutions for metadata, data lineage, and data quality
- Implementing data quality processes to maintain data integrity across the organization
- Conducting root cause analysis to address and resolve data quality issues
- Collaborating with business analysts and data architects to understand and meet requirements
- Managing stakeholder engagement to resolve data mapping and conversion issues
- Documenting data models at physical, logical, and conceptual levels
- Conducting data analysis to integrate and link diverse data sets for stakeholder insights
- Leading the development of custom data lineage solutions for complex platforms
- Enhancing and sustaining metadata and data pipelines for periodic data quality monitoring
- Collaborating with IT and business teams to design data lineage and quality solutions
- Translating business criteria into technical data quality rules
- Supporting the definition of goals to improve data collaboration and reduce architecture complexity
- Utilizing API integrations and development skills in React.Js, Node.js, and PythonSpark
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 4 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
What Sets You Apart
- At least one of the following: One or more certifications aligned to information security governance and risk management, including CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or equivalent security leadership credentials
- Demonstrating proficiency in metadata processing tools like Ab Initio Meta Hub and Informatica EDC
