Data Protection Coordinator

We are seeking a motivated, curious, and proactive individual with a passion for data protection to join GF as Data Protection Coordinator for a part-time (50%) 2 years fixed-term position. As the selected candidate, you'll get hands-on experience with a wide range of data protection tasks and projects. This global role is based in Helsinki, Finland, and reports to the Chief Compliance & Privacy Officer.

This is what you do

• Advise stakeholders on Privacy and AI compliance matters and legal governance questions.
• Promote privacy across the organization, build and maintain trust.
• Investigate privacy incidents.
• Produce, maintain and improve privacy and AI documentation.
• Check Data Processing Agreements.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to assess whether data collection and usage practices are transparent, protect user privacy, and mitigate risk.
• Draft privacy policies, procedures and training materials.
• Evaluate effectiveness of privacy processes.

This is what you need

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree (preferably in law, business administration, business informatics or similar).
• Experience in the field of data protection, compliance, or information security.
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
• Team player attitude with good interpersonal communication skills.
• Proactive, independent and structured way of working.
• Reliable, open and transparent way of communicating.
• Passion and curiosity to learn, improve and develop.
• Very good MS Office skills.
• Eligibility to work in Finland.
