At ING, we believe trust is fundamental to how we serve our customers. As a leading digital bank serving more than 2 million customers in Australia, we're continuing to strengthen our approach to privacy, data protection and responsible data use to support innovation while maintaining customer trust.
Reporting to the Data Protection Lead, the Data Protection Steward plays a key role in shaping and maturing ING Australia's data protection capability within the Data Office. Working across business, technology, risk and data teams, you'll help embed sustainable data protection practices into products, processes and change initiatives, enabling the organisation to innovate with confidence while protecting customer information.
This is a highly visible role offering broad exposure across multiple business areas and the opportunity to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation. You'll contribute to strategic initiatives spanning privacy governance, personal data management, data lifecycle management, regulatory change, adoption of market-leading data protection capabilities and emerging AI governance, helping drive the ongoing evolution of data protection as a key pillar of ING Australia's Data Office.
At ING, you'll be empowered to shape what's next. You'll join a collaborative and inclusive culture built on trust, curiosity and continuous learning, where you'll have the opportunity to grow your expertise, broaden your network and contribute to initiatives that have a meaningful impact on our customers, colleagues and business. If you're passionate about protecting customer trust, enabling responsible innovation and helping shape the future of data protection, we'd love to hear from you.
