We are experts in building central cloud platforms, cloud risk mitigation and cloud operating models, providing thought leadership to central government and private enterprise organisations to help them unlock the true value of cloud.
At Cloudscaler, you'll be part of a consultancy at the forefront of cloud transformation, trusted by government, defence, and enterprise organisations to deliver complex AWS solutions that make a real national impact. From modernising public services to securing critical infrastructure, the work you do will matter far beyond technology.
We combine the agility of a startup with the credibility of an AWS Advanced Partner, creating a high-trust, high-performance culture where self-starters thrive and every voice is heard. You'll work closely with senior leadership and cloud experts, shaping meaningful projects and driving innovation.
By joining us, you'll accelerate your personal and professional development through hands-on experience with cutting-edge cloud solutions. You'll learn directly from experts while contributing to some of the UK's most ambitious cloud programmes, gaining exposure and influence you wouldn't find in a larger consultancy.
Cloudscaler is growing. We are winning more cloud engagements across public and private sector, and we need delivery professionals who can take ownership of engagements and see them through. This role exists to make sure our client work is delivered on time, within scope, and to the standard that has built our reputation. You will report to the Chief Delivery Officer and work alongside Lead and Senior Delivery Managers across Cloudscaler’s client portfolio.
The role is client-facing and hands-on. It suits someone who has already delivered a complex technology programme end to end and wants to grow their consulting and stakeholder skills in a supportive team.
Experience delivering at complex technology-led programme end to end. Datacentre migration, infrastructure or cloud transformation is preferred over generic programme management.
Hands-on experience producing delivery reporting and artefacts (status reports, RAID logs, plans and roadmaps) using tooling such as Jira, Confluence or equivalent.
Experience in a consulting environment, or an internal role with a strong client-facing delivery element.
Confident working with client stakeholders; you can run a project meeting, influence people who do not report to you, and have honest conversations about scope, timeline or risk, knowing when to escalate.
Experience delivering AWS-based engagements; hands-on AWS experience is not essential provided you understand core cloud infrastructure concepts.
Experience working in or running agile delivery teams (Scrum, Kanban or hybrid).
Experience of public sector delivery and familiarity with government digital service standards.
Understanding of cloud migration approaches and the delivery challenges involved in moving and modernising workloads.
Some exposure to pre-sales, estimation or scoping work.
Relevant qualifications are a plus but not essential: PRINCE2, AgilePM, Scrum Master, AWS Cloud Practitioner or equivalent.
