As a DevOps Engineer T24/TPH you will contribute to BMG becoming the bank which provides top notch services and products for our customers in Netting and Cash Pool. Together with your colleague engineers you will deliver top notch client software from design to development and implementation.

Bank Mendes Gans is part of ING and is the only bank in the world to engage exclusively in liquidity and information management solutions for Fortune 500 multinationals. We operate a bank-independent model and we handle most of the world’s convertible currencies.
We don’t compete with the clients local banks - we cooperate with them. We work multi-currency, multi-country and multi-bank. This allows for a smooth implementation of your liquidity management strategy. Especially if the company has decentralized management, subsidiaries in different countries, different legal and tax regimes, and a large number of bank accounts, bank relationships and banking systems. As we offer overlay solutions on top of existing local bank infrastructure, there is no need to change banks.
Roles and responsibilities
As a T24/TPH DevOps Engineer you are responsible for supporting and maintaining our internally hosted Temenos applications T24/TPH. Making sure this BMG core banking and payment system is available for our customers 24/7. And making sure the system is up-to-par with constant changing business requirements (e.g. regulatory changes) and the system. You are also responsible for upgrading the system and underlying infrastructure to new and supported software stacks and make sure the system is reliable and secure.
Some examples of what you will be doing, and your responsibilities are:
Operational support (incident and problem management). Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical problems that impact production systems within the organization.
Supporting T24/TPH end users.
Keeping the T24/TPH system safe and secure, e.g. performing LCM, patching, solving vulnerabilities
Implement new business requirements.
Implement technical improvements on TAFJ componentized and in Java code.

We expect the following Tech skills:
> 5 years (preferably in financial institution) experience within software technical consultancy including T24 and TPH implementation experience in a banking environment.
Experienced in operational support of Temenos Transact/TPH software.
Experienced in Local development of Temenos Transact/TPH software.
Experienced in Temenos upgrade projects (e.g. R19 to R23, TAFC to TAFJ)
Understanding of infrastructural component such as Linux, Oracle, Jboss, MS SQL, networks,
Experienced in working with automated test frame works.
Experienced in working with CD tooling (e.g. Azure DevOps)
Experienced in Agile way of working.
Experienced in the concepts of ESB, Camel, TOCFEE and TAFJEE connectivity.
Good hands-on knowledge of the Temenos IRIS API development experience using Java(e.g. development of published APIs)
Integration Framework IF events and flows, setup, data event streaming.
Experienced in working on setting up TAFJ, troubleshooting TAFJ issues, navigating TAFJ code flow.
