Digital Sharks: Performance Data Associate — Marketplace Intelligence (Early Careers)

Team: Global eCommerce, Pure Players — Performance Data

Location:  London, UK

Contract Type: Fixed-Term Contract

Start Date: August/ September

Duration: December 2026

Overview

At SharkNinja, we don’t just build products—we create consumer-first experiences that delight millions of customers around the world.

Digital Sharks is our early careers program for the eCommerce Pure Players business — the team responsible for how SharkNinja shows up on the world’s largest marketplaces, including Amazon, Mercado Libre and Takealot. Millions of people discover our products there every day. This program exists to turn that attention into revenue.

We’re looking for a Performance Data Associate to join our Pure Players Performance Data team and help build APEX, the intelligence layer behind how we win on Marketplaces around the world.

Our Pure Players business generates more performance data than any team can read manually. You’ll help connect that data to APEX and support the agents we’re building on top of it, working alongside Performance Data leads, engineers and regional commercial teams.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is naturally curious, analytical and comfortable with data, and wants to build hands-on experience in AI-native analytics within a fast-paced, global business.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll own a defined market and a measurable business outcome from your first month, while gaining exposure to how a global e-commerce business actually operates.

You’ll:

• Integrate the 3^rd Party API connections into APEX to supercharge our agentic context.
• Support the completion of three consecutive two-week sprints on the Agentic Jailbreak Big Build.
• Expand APEX’s knowledge by structuring, validating and documenting marketplace performance data.
• Test agent outputs against real performance data and document where they break.
• Translate commercial questions from Sales and Digital Marketing into data the agent can actually answer.
• Build and maintain reporting across availability, pricing, content quality and advertising efficiency.
• Carry out competitor and category analysis to identify opportunities on marketplaces around the world.
• Participate in the program operating rhythm, including daily stand-ups, 30-day sprint reviews and weekly Show & Tell sessions where you present your own work.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, asking questions and working collaboratively to get to a better answer.

You’ll likely be:

• A recent graduate, or in the final year of a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Business Analytics, Information Systems or a related discipline.
• Curious about AI and agentic tools, and willing to learn them quickly.
• Comfortable working with APIs, structured data and messy real-world datasets.
• Analytical and comfortable working with data to identify trends and support decision making.
• A confident communicator who can turn complex information into something clear and actionable.
• Proactive, collaborative and eager to learn.
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Fluent in Spanish if the role is based in Mexico City. Working fluency in English is required in either location.

It Would Be Great If You Also Have

• Working knowledge of SQL or Python.
• Exposure to LLM or agentic tooling, whether at university or in your own projects.
• Experience using reporting or data visualisation tools.
• An interest in e-commerce, marketplaces or digital commerce.
• Awareness of marketplace analytics platforms such as Stackline, Nubimetrics, GFK.

What You’ll Gain

At SharkNinja, you’ll be trusted with meaningful work from day one.

You’ll own a named market and a named business outcome, working alongside experienced commercial leaders on results the business is measured by.

You’ll benefit from:

• Ownership of a defined market and a measurable business outcome from your first month.
• Mentoring and coaching from an experienced manager, plus a named mentor one level above them.
• Direct exposure to the world’s largest marketplaces — Amazon, Mercado Libre and Takealot.
• Hands-on experience with AI-native tools, including our Agentic Jailbreak Big Build and APEX agents.
• Cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Digital Marketing, Performance Data, Marketplace Affiliates and Media teams.
• Visibility with senior leaders through weekly Show & Tell sessions, where you present your own work.
• Professional development, networking opportunities and participation in our Early Careers community.
