Role Overview
Reporting to the Capabilities & Strategic Platforms Lead, the Director sets the global agenda around the Marketer Capability ‘Modern Marketing Leadership & Decision Excellence’ (Capability 7) and owns its strategy, standards, frameworks and priority learning solutions.
The Marketer Capability Framework is the Academy’s practical guide to the seven capabilities, associated skills and AI-enabled ways of working that marketers need to learn, apply and lead across their careers. The Director owns the human capabilities strategy, standards, frameworks and priority learning solutions that are increasingly critical in AI-enabled work, by analyzing and prioritizing capability gaps based on insights stemming from capability survey data, stakeholder insight and external evidence and developing strategies and execution plans for all career levels.
The Director delivers through a defined network of track leads, Learning Design & Delivery colleagues, measurement partners, markets and external vendors. The scope is global.
