THE OPPORTUNITY

We are hiring a User Growth Director to our Marketing team in Brazil!

As our User Growth Director, Brazil, you'll own User Growth strategy and execution for one of Wellhub's largest and most strategically important markets: new members, new paid subscribers, upgrade, and reactivation, with a strong secondary focus on engagement and retention. You'll lead an established, high-performing regional team while operating as the primary User Growth partner to our senior Brazil country leadership, translating data into strategy and strategy into hands-on, in-market execution.

This is a senior, highly autonomous role on a market with real momentum and real stakes: you'll set the growth agenda for Brazil, build on a strong existing team and track record, and stay close enough to the work to run the analysis, build the campaign, or fix what isn't working yourself when it matters. We expect you to use AI as a core part of how you and your team operate: accelerating analysis, reporting, and campaign development so you can move faster and go deeper than a traditional growth team. If you're energized by owning a top-priority market end-to-end, building senior stakeholder relationships, and leading with both strategic judgment and hands-on rigor, we'd love to hear from you!

YOUR IMPACT

• Own the User Growth strategy for Brazil (members, subscribers, upgrade, retention), with a  clear input on the P&L based on ROI trade-offs, building and forecasting the regional marketing plan and the KPIs that track it.
• Build and sustain a trust-based partnership with senior Brazil country leadership, becoming their go-to partner for growth strategy and a credible voice in regional and cross-functional forums, including SVPs, VPs and GM. Turn Brazil's results into a strategic narrative for senior/executive audiences.
• Lead, hire, and develop an established regional team, delegating with context and coaching them toward greater ownership and autonomy.
• Use AI as a core part of how you and your team work: fluent with AI tools to accelerate data analysis, campaign development, reporting, and market research, and comfortable coaching others to do the same.
• Make autonomous, data-driven resource-allocation calls with a clear view of their ROI, cross-team and cross-geography implications. Stay close to the numbers and the work: pull and interpret your own data, build your own reporting, and get hands-on with campaign execution and QA. Champion experimentation that takes calculated, well-reasoned risk, and push for what works to become standard practice beyond Brazil.
• Bring outside-market pattern recognition and industry knowledge, identifying local trends and competitive opportunities, adapting global playbooks to local reality and feeding validated local wins back into Wellhub's global growth playbook.
• Own campaign strategy across lifecycle channels (email, app push, SMS/WhatsApp) and influence the paid media agenda, developing messaging strategies in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders (PMM, Brand, CS) as the subject-matter expert on the Brazilian consumer. Own Brazil's promotional calendar, planning marketing moments and special offers around seasonality and key commercial windows to maximize impact. Influence Finance on pricing and promotional decisions, bringing a growth and ROI lens to commercial trade-offs.
• Live the mission: inspire and empower others by genuinely caring for your own wellbeing and your colleagues. Bring wellbeing to the forefront of work, and create a supportive environment where everyone feels comfortable taking care of themselves, taking time off, and finding work-life wellness.

WHO YOU ARE

• You use AI as a core part of how you work: fluent with AI tools (e.g. Claude Code, Gemini) to accelerate data analysis, reporting, and campaign development, and able to speak concretely to how you already do this today. You expect this of your team too.
• A seasoned growth/marketing leader with direct experience owning P&L-level trade-offs for a major market or business line, end-to-end strategy and execution, ideally in an owned channels,  CRM/lifecycle and/or subscription-growth context.
• A proven track record of materially improving a growth funnel's performance, not just maintaining a healthy one — you're energized by a market with real upside, not just steady-state execution.
• A strong analytical operator, just as comfortable pulling and interpreting your own data as directing someone else to, and using that fluency to proactively identify trends and opportunities. A strategic thinker with strong prioritization skills, who connects daily execution to business impact and knows how to prioritize when everything feels urgent.
• A confident stakeholder manager who builds trust with senior, cross-functional, and executive audiences, translates complex ideas into simple narratives, and navigates high-stakes conversations calmly, with demonstrated ability to manage up to and partner with VP/GM-level stakeholders without close day-to-day oversight.
• A hands-on leader who moves fluidly between strategy and execution: building the plan, then rolling up your sleeves to help build the campaign, run the analysis, or fix what's not working.
• A people leader who coaches for growth, builds psychological safety, and holds a team accountable to real outcomes. Someone with meaningful people-management experience and a track record building/leading cross-functional teams, who can step into and earn trust within an existing, well-regarded team quickly.
• Global or multi-market experience is a real asset, bringing outside perspective to Brazil specifically, paired with genuine intent to go deep on the local market. Fluent in Portuguese for local team and market work, and fluent in English for cross-functional and global collaboration.

We recognize that individuals approach job applications differently. We strongly encourage all aspiring applicants to go for it, even if they don't match the job description 100%. We welcome your application and will be delighted to explore if you could be a great fit for our team. For this specific role, please note that prior experience as a growth/marketing leader and fluent English are mandatory requirements.
