Job Description

Position: Director, Technical Services - APAC
Remit: Asia Pacific

Location: Singapore (hybrid) or Australia (primarily on-site, with some flexibility possible)
Travel: Occasional travel is expected, including regional visits across APAC and periodic meetings or conferences in Lund, Sweden. Virtual meetings will be used wherever practical.

 

We’re looking for a strategic, customer-focused leader to build a scalable Technical Services organization that helps customers and partners succeed with Axis solutions. You’ll balance regional needs with global alignment, develop strong leaders and use technology to improve support, while partnering with Sales to build customer confidence and enable growth.

 

What you’ll do

• Set the direction for APAC Technical Services and turn strategy into practical plans.
• Evolve the support model, team structure and capabilities to meet changing business needs.
• Align regional teams with global Technical Services and HQ.
• Improve customer and partner support, escalations and service consistency.
• Explore AI, automation and self-service to enhance service quality and productivity.
• Partner with Sales and channel teams to support customer success and share valuable customer insights.
• Develop Technical Services leaders and teams and report on performance and improvement opportunities.

 

What you’ll bring

• Strong leadership experience in B2B technical support, technical services or service delivery.
• Experience leading managers and technical teams across multiple locations or markets.
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure, including servers and networks; security-industry experience is an advantage.
• A track record of improving support operations while balancing customer and business needs.
• A customer-success mindset and the ability to influence across Sales, partners and global teams.
• Confidence leading critical customer escalations and developing people.
