Title:
Discipline Project Engineer (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil/Structural & Piping)
KBR is looking to hire a Project Engineer for the following disciplines: Mechanical, Electrical, Civil/Structural & Piping. This role will manage coordinate discipline engineering activities throughout all project phases.
Responsibilities:
- Review engineering deliverables, drawings, specifications, calculations, and technical documents
- Ensure compliance with project requirements, Saudi Aramco standards, and industry best practices
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, vendors, and client representatives
- Support procurement, construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and startup activities
- Identify and resolve technical issues to ensure safe and successful project execution
- Monitor progress and support project schedule, quality, and cost objectives
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Electrical, Civil/Structural, or related Engineering discipline
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry
- Mandatory Saudi Aramco project experience
- Experience in EPC and/or PMC projects
- Strong knowledge of Saudi Aramco standards (SAES, SAMSS, SATIP) and applicable international codes
- Demonstrated experience in engineering, construction, commissioning, and startup support
- Relevant discipline experience in:
- Mechanical: Rotating and static equipment, utilities, and mechanical systems.
- Electrical: Power distribution systems, substations, transformers, motors, and UPS systems.
- Civil/Structural: Foundations, structural steel, buildings, roads, and infrastructure works.
- Piping: Piping design, layouts, stress analysis, material selection, and pipeline systems.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
- Experience in refineries, gas plants, GOSPs, pipelines, tank farms, and infrastructure projects is preferred
