Topgolf | Dishwasher

Job Description

ABOUT TOPGOLF

Topgolf is where golf meets a great time. We're a high-energy sports entertainment venue where every shift is different, every guest brings their own energy, and the people who work here make it all happen. If you're looking for a place to grow, have fun, and be part of something bigger than a job description, you're in the right place.

WHAT WE’RE SEEKING

Are you someone who takes pride in keeping things spotless, works fast without cutting corners, and understands that a clean kitchen is the foundation of great food? Do you bring consistency, reliability, and a team-first attitude to every shift? Can you keep the dish pit running at full capacity even when the kitchen is at its busiest?

We’re looking for a Dishwasher who takes ownership of the dish pit and understands just how important their role is to the whole kitchen. You’ll keep every pot, pan, plate, and utensil clean, sanitized, and back in rotation — so the cooks always have what they need and guests always get a great meal. If you take pride in doing the work that makes everything else possible, this is your role.

THE ROLE

The Dishwasher is responsible for washing and sanitizing all cookware, dishes, silverware, utensils, and service items — and for keeping the dish pit clean, organized, and fully compliant with health and safety regulations. This role is essential to kitchen operations, and it requires consistency, attention to detail, and the physical stamina to keep up with a high-volume kitchen throughout every shift.

This role requires a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays, with availability to work during peak periods, special events, and high-volume seasons.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Run the Dish Pit

• Wash all wares — pots, pans, flatware, glasses, and service items — by hand or using dishwashers, to the highest standard of cleanliness and sanitation

• Return clean equipment, dishes, and utensils to their correct, designated storage areas promptly

• Stock serving stations, refrigerators, and cupboards with dishes and utensils so the kitchen always has what it needs

• Move dishwashing supplies and equipment from storage to the work area safely and efficiently

Keep the Kitchen Clean and Safe

• Maintain the dish pit at the highest level of cleanliness, safety, and sanitation throughout every shift

• Clean trash receptacles and manage waste removal to keep the kitchen and back-of-house areas orderly

• Ensure work areas remain safe, clean, and compliant with all company, local, and state health and safety guidelines

• Assist with light food prep as directed by the Chef team when needed

Be a Dependable Kitchen Team Member

• Work as a reliable, fast-moving team member in a high-volume kitchen environment

• Operate under the direction of the Chef team and respond quickly to shifting priorities during service

• Communicate any equipment issues, safety hazards, or supply needs to the Chef team promptly

• Demonstrate Topgolf's Core Values in every interaction: Fun, One Team, Excellence, Courage, and Caring

WHY YOU’LL LOVE IT HERE

• You’ll be an essential part of the team that powers one of the most high-energy culinary operations in entertainment

• You’ll work in a fast, team-oriented kitchen where your reliability and effort are genuinely valued

• You’ll develop kitchen knowledge and stamina in an environment that moves fast and rewards hard work

• You’ll work in a place where great food starts with clean equipment — and that starts with you

CORE COMPETENCIES FOR SUCCESS

Being Resilient | You stay focused and keep the pit running even during the busiest rushes, because the kitchen can’t slow down.

• Remains calm and professional during peak service, high-volume events, and unexpected challenges

• Recovers quickly when things go sideways and helps the team do the same

• Manages the heat, literally and figuratively, without letting pressure affect the team's performance or morale

• Brings the same energy and thoroughness to the last rack of dishes as to the first

Communicates Effectively | You stay in sync with the kitchen team, flag what’s needed, and keep operations moving without being asked twice.

• Listens to direction from the Chef team and acts quickly and accurately to keep the kitchen supplied

• Communicates proactively with kitchen staff about dish availability, stock levels, and anything that could slow service

• Flags equipment issues, sanitation concerns, or supply shortages to the Chef team promptly

• Contributes to a kitchen environment where everyone is set up to execute at their best

Customer Focus | You know that a clean kitchen is the foundation of every great guest experience, and you own that responsibility.

• Holds themselves accountable for cleanliness, sanitation, and turnaround speed on every shift

• Anticipates what the kitchen will need before it runs low — dishes back in rotation before cooks run out

• Understands that their work is what keeps the kitchen moving and takes genuine pride in doing it right

• Always looking for ways to work faster, cleaner, and smarter — and acts on it

Drives Results | You keep the dish pit running at full capacity because the kitchen depends on you every single shift.

• Holds themselves to high standards for cleanliness, sanitation, and turnaround speed — every shift, no exceptions

• Moves with urgency and personal ownership to keep the dish pit from ever becoming a bottleneck

• Notices when supplies are getting low or equipment is falling behind — and acts without being told

• Takes pride in a kitchen that runs well, looks clean, and puts out great food consistently

• Experience in a kitchen, food service, or high-volume operations environment preferred

• Ability to work under the direction of the Chef team and follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Must be 18 years of age or older as required by state or local law
