E/E System Architect – Vehicle Architecture

Accountabilities:

You will be responsible for defining and maintaining vehicle-level E/E architectures, ensuring that system requirements, interfaces, and communication concepts align with technical and regulatory expectations. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, you will support the integration, validation, and continuous improvement of complex vehicle systems.

• Design and develop vehicle-level E/E architectures based on functional, technical, and regulatory requirements.

• Translate vehicle requirements into system-, subsystem-, ECU-, and component-level specifications.

• Define and maintain system architectures, interfaces, signal flows, and communication concepts.

• Design and assess vehicle communication networks, including CAN, CAN-FD, LIN, Automotive Ethernet, and diagnostic systems.

• Coordinate the integration of ECUs, sensors, actuators, and software components across vehicle domains.

• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams, suppliers, and technology partners to ensure architectural consistency.

• Participate in architecture reviews, system integration activities, testing, and technical troubleshooting.

• Conduct change impact assessments and evaluate the effects of modifications on vehicle-level systems.

• Maintain requirements traceability and ensure consistency across the complete vehicle architecture.

• Support engineering development processes and contribute to continuous improvements in system design and integration.
