We are seeking an experienced Electrical Technical Coordinator to support the delivery of electrical systems and installations on the Eglinton Crosstown West Extension – Stations, Rail, and Systems (ECWE-SRS) Project. This role will work closely with project management, design, and construction teams to ensure technical accuracy, quality, and compliance with project specifications and regulatory standards. The successful candidate will play a key part in coordinating electrical design reviews, managing installation activities, and supporting integration and commissioning efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and review electrical design drawings, specifications, and submittals to confirm they meet project requirements.
Provide technical support and guidance to site teams throughout construction and commissioning.
Work with design consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to address design questions and resolve installation challenges.
Assist in preparing RFIs, change notices, and other technical documentation.
Perform site inspections to ensure electrical installations meet quality and safety expectations.
Support commissioning efforts, including testing and validating electrical systems.
Maintain up-to-date records of as-built drawings, technical data, and inspection documentation.
Ensure all electrical work adheres to relevant codes, standards, and project specifications.
Collaborate with other technical disciplines to support a coordinated and integrated project delivery.
Required Skills and Competencies
Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
3–5 years of experience in electrical coordination within the ICI or infrastructure sectors.
Solid knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, and low-voltage installations.
Experience working with construction drawings, AutoCAD, and project management documentation.
Strong communication skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.
Proven ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary project team.
This role offers an annual base salary in the anticipated range of $100,000–$120,000 CAD, with compensation determined based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
